An area along the front of the church opposite the entrance to the churchyard is designated as our Garden of Remembrance and reserved for the burial of ashes and a lasting memorial for departed loved ones.
The burial of ashes is conducted as part of a small and poignant service of prayers and readings which our minister will conduct at a time of the week convenient for the family. Often this is after the Sunday morning service to which the family and friends are also invited. The family may also wish to have their loved one’s name and dates permanently recorded on our memorial stone in the Garden of Remembrance.

The right of burial of cremated remains in the Garden of Remembrance is open to all residents of Partington and Carrington. The Vicar has sole discretion in other cases.
